American College of Dubai

The American College of Dubai (ACD) is a private educational institution incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Set in the heart of Dubai, in the Al Garhoud area near the Dubai international airport,
American College of Dubai has been accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education. The
institution was established in the year 1990 and moved to a purpose-built facility in 1998.
Further expansion of the college was completed in the year 2001. A major refurbishment
along with the introduction of additional facilities was undertaken in the year 2008.

The college follows the US curriculum, within the framework of the American University System, which is compatible with universities across the USA. The institution emphasizes the core values of academic excellence, innovation, ethical integrity and multiculturalism. ACD aims to effectively cover the broad-based general education objectives normally associated with
US higher education with an emphasis on widening the perspective of the educated individual.
